Georg Oest Mineralölwerk GmbH & Co. KG was awarded the highest distinction of the Oskar Patzelt Foundation at the Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Companies.

Nationwide, more than 4,000 companies were evaluated by an independent jury of the foundation. Under the motto "Securing the future together", the focus was not only on economic aspects, but also on holistic aspects such as sustainable growth, social responsibility, regional commitment and innovative strength through research & development.

After the nomination and a multi-stage selection process, Oest reached the jury list as one of 485 companies from six participating countries, prevailed among the finalists and was finally awarded the Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Companies. The coveted statue of the prize-winner was presented at a gala evening in Würzburg with around 500 invited entrepreneurs.

DIE WELT describes the Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Companies as the most coveted business award throughout Germany. The competition is organised entirely on a voluntary basis and is subject to DIN ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management.
